His own career started in 1978 and after 10 years focusing on academic, practical training and experience, he became a Chartered Engineer in 1989. He had worked in both commercial and public projects; from design to construction and then to operation & maintenance.
He started as a graduate engineer, then consulting engineer, senior engineer, chief engineer, project manager, maintenance manager, facilities manager, director and principal engineer prior to devoting in providing teaching, seminar speaking and books writing since 1992.
His expertise is in project & construction management, energy and auditing, M&E engineering design, installation & facilities management. He has worked in hotels, hospitals, military & marine projects, banks and IT technological companies. He was an academic subject specialist in FM and building services engineering for 6 years. He is talented in engineering seminars/training and has been coaching over 40 successful chartered engineer candidates since 2005.
His main wish at the College is to train more young engineers from technician to become professional chartered engineers.
He had written and co-written a few research papers in energy and business innovation. He also serves as a consultant to other institutions and organizations. He has been teaching over 30,000 students since 1992.
