Part-time Lecturer

Job Responsibility

  • Performing teaching and education-related activities/ duties
  • Assisting in designing, implementing, evaluating and coordinating course/ programmes/ curriculum
  • Engaging in School services

Job Requirements
1. Have a BEng and a MSc/ MEng or Doctor degree.
2. Qualified CEng, RPE, RICS, or similar professional qualifications.
3. At least 10 years of experience or above. Candidates do not have professional qualifications should have at least 15 to 20 years of experience.
4. Other universities or institutions lecturers are also welcomed.
5. Prior teaching experience preferred but new qualified engineers wishing to commit in lecturing are also welcomed

Assistant Engineer

Job Description:

  • Tender estimation;
  • Preparation of installation program, shop drawings, progress report and submitting payment applications;
  • Purchase of equipment/materials;
  • Responsible for site coordination and supervision of sub-contractors and attending site meetings etc.

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or related discipline;
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project;
  • Knowledge of BIM application is advantage;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Good communication skills with positive attitude;
  • Proactive and work independently

Engineer

Job Description

  • Preparation of tender, job budget, drawings and equipment submission;
  • Perform project planning and management;
  • Supervise sub-contractors and attend building services & site meetings;
  • Assist in prepare of payment, variation claim and negotiation
  • Will be assigned to handle E&M installation / renovation / fitting out / maintenance works

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or related Discipline;
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in Electrical / Mechanical works;
  • Proficient in using MS Applications, AutoCAD and BIM;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for Electrical and Fire Services installations
  • Supervise the performance of in-house technical staff
  • Liaison with the client and representatives on the condition and performance of E&M installations
  • Assist the client to handover the new premises, assess the equipment conditions and prepare a defect list for onward submission
  • Supervise the performance of maintenance contractors on quality and services level
  • Handle the process of budgeting, tendering and supervision for major repairing and maintenance work

Requirements

  • Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 4 years relevant experience with supervisory position in E&M maintenance work
  • Capable in writing and speaking both English and Chinese
  • Capable in PC applications in MS Office
  • Capable in PC application in AutoCAD
  • Self-initiative and able to work independently
  • Experience in property / facilities management field is preferred

Job Description

Title:                       Assistant Engineering Manager

Grade:                    B

Report To:              Engineering & Project Manager

Job Summary:

Assist the Engineering & Project Manager in all aspects of the operation of the Engineering Department, to ensure the Club’s facilities operation in order and compliance with statutory regulations. To plan and manage all preventive maintenance / upgrade projects in order to achieve Management and/or Committee objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Regular audit all Club premises (exterior and interior), facilities and utilities with remedial reports to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, operation in order and maintain constant supply respectively. To plan, implement and oversee Preventive Maintenance regimes to keep the Club condition to achieve Senior Management and / or Committee objectives.
  2. To supervise Engineering staff for daily operation, repair and planned maintenance aspects.
  3. To assist in planning, budgeting and implementation for the Club upgrade projects.
  4. To assist in preparation of tender documents for all planned preventative maintenance / upgrade projects.
  5. To assist in site supervision and co-ordination for all planned preventative maintenance / upgrade projects.
  6. To assist in preparing and control annual budget for Engineering Department.
  7. To review energy efficiency and control cost saving for the Club facilities.
  8. To provide technical advice & support about facilities operation and maintenance issues for other departments.
  9. Actively pursues the establishment and implementation of best practices within the budget.
  1. To provide technical assistance to the Club’s major events and functions.
  2. Through other departments, attitude and appearance, promotes a high level of interaction with other departments and a high degree of member / guest satisfaction.
  3. To ensure an up-to-date database with statutory certificates, inventory, drawings and repair & maintenance records.
  4. Provide technical training to Engineering staff, to keep capabilities of staff to the required level for their facilities and scope of work
  5. To perform any other assigned duties by the Senior Management.

Occupational Health & Safety:

  1. Take reasonable care for health and safety of himself / herself and others
  2. Actively involved in the work safety and responsive to risk prevention at work
  3. Play an active role in fulfilling the managerial responsibilities for occupational health and safety
  4. Compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Ordinance and related Club rules
  5. Actively participate the Health & Safety Group and attend the regular meeting

Responsibilities

  • Supervise in-house and outsourced day-to-day maintenance and repair works in the Corporation’s managed residential properties
  • Liaise with residents on technical aspects of building maintenance and repair works
  • Enforce safety for works carried out by direct labours, term workers and contractors
  • Attend meetings with residents, developers, contractors and the Owners’ Committees to address related technical enquiries and issues

 

Requirements:

  • Senior Technical Officer – Property
  • Degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in electrical systems, plumbing and drainage, builder’s works and other building services; OR
  • Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
  • Grade B Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker
  • Solid experience in property management and taking over of properties is an advantage

 

  • Technical Officer – Property
  • Diploma / Certificate in Building Services or a related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in building services systems gained in residential and commercial properties; OR
  • Grade B Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker
  • Solid experience in electrical and air-conditioning systems, building services systems and contractor’s management is essential

 

  • Assistant Technical Officer- Property
  • Diploma / Certificate in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Grade A Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker is an advantage.
  • Experience in solving system-wide problems and strong background in operation and maintenance of building services systems of residential buildings are advantages
